How to accept match
🤝 Accepting a Match Challenge
Once a match is created and you're invited, you'll receive a challenge request. You can view the match and Accept or Decline from the proposed matches screen or from the alerts.
✅ Accepting means you're confirming participation and readiness.
Quick Flow:
Home Page → Notification 🔔 → Select Match Request → Accept Match Request ✅ → Navigation
- Goal-Based Sports: Navigation → Members Page → Select Players → Select Substitutes → Assign Captain 🧢
- Set/Rank-Based Sports: Navigation → My Matches → View Match Details 🏆

🔍 Things to Check Before Accepting a Match
Ensure you're confident about participating. Review:

| ⏰ Time | Confirm availability during match start + estimated duration also that the match is in regular and safe hours |
| 📍 Location | Check if the venue is safe and accessible for you |
| 📈 Stats Impact | This match may affect your performance record |
| 👥 Familiarity | Know at least one player, captain, or organizer |
| 🚻 Gender | Ensure the match aligns with your comfort or preference |
| 🧒 Age Group | Matches may be grouped (e.g. U18, 18–25, Open, 40+) |
| ⚠️ Red Flags | Watch for: incomplete profiles, suspicious behavior, or mismatched info |
🧠 Matches are as good as the community. Only accept if you're confident in the safety, fairness, and intent of the match and participants.
✅ Steps to Accept a Match Request

🏠 Go to the Home Page and click the Notifications icon 🔔.

🔔 You will be navigated to the Notifications page.

📂 Open the Match Requests tab from the available notification categories:
- ⚔️ Match Requests
- 👥 Team Requests
- 🤝 Connections
- 📢 General

🔍 Locate and select your match request.

✅ Click Accept Match Request to confirm.

🏟️ You will be automatically navigated based on your sport type (see below).
📝 Important Notice: This match request acceptance process is applicable to all ranks and sets sports.
👥 After Acceptance
After accepting the match, the next screen depends on your sport type:
⚽ Goal-Based Sports
You will be navigated to the Members Page:
- Select the players for your team.
- Choose the substitutes.
- Assign the captain 🧢 for the match.
🏆 Set / Rank-Based Sports
You will be redirected to My Matches:
- View your accepted match details.
- Track match status and updates.
