🔗 Player Connections
Player Connections let you build your own sports network inside Sportzdom — teammates, opponents, friends, fans, and more.
🤝 What Are Connections?
Connections represent mutual visibility and interaction between two players:
- 🧍 See each other’s profiles and stats (based on privacy settings)
- 📸 Tag each other in match photos and memories
- 📨 Send match invites, team invites, or ground bookings
- 🔔 Get updates when your connections join matches or earn awards
💡 Why Connect?
- 👀 Easily track your friends' progress
- 🏏 Re-invite past teammates for new matches
- 📢 Boost visibility and discovery
- 🧠 Improve your recommendations (events, matches, tournaments)
- 🧾 Build a verified sports graph — useful for future team or tournament registrations
📏 Connection Limits by Plan
| Plan | Max Active Connections |
|---|---|
| 🟢 Starter | 10 |
| 🟡 Explorers | 50 |
| 🔴 Challengers | Unlimited |
Removing a connection will free up one slot. You can re-send requests later.
🔐 Privacy Options
You can control:
- Who can see your connections
- Whether others can send you connection requests
- Who can invite you to teams/matches based on connection

🚦Connection States
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ✅ Connected | Both players accepted |
| ⏳ Pending | Request sent, awaiting acceptance |
| ❌ Rejected | Request declined |
| 🚫 Blocked | You or the other player blocked access |
🌐 How to Connect with Players
- Visit another player’s profile
- Tap “Connect”
- Wait for them to accept
You can view/manage your connections under Profile → Connections.
