🏟️ How to Book a Ground
Sportzdom helps you find and book practice venues, match grounds, and tournament locations — all in a few taps.
📌 Step 1: Go to the Bookings Tab
- Open the Sportzdom app
- Tap on the “Bookings” tab from the bottom navigation
- Choose “Book a Ground”
📍 Step 2: Search by Location
You can search grounds using:
- 🔍 Current location (auto-detected)
- 🗺️ Manually entered city, district, or state
- 📆 Date availability
Tip: Use filters like sport type (e.g. Cricket, Football), surface type (grass/turf), or pricing.
📅 Step 3: Select Date & Time Slot
- Tap on the ground you want to book
- View available time slots
- Choose the date and duration
- Tap “Continue”
👥 Step 4: Add Booking Participants (Optional)
You may choose to:
- Link a match or team to this booking
- Notify team members automatically
- Assign a booking manager
💳 Step 5: Confirm & Pay
Depending on the ground settings:
- You may pay online via Razorpay OR
- Use "Request Booking" (approval-based for admins)
After confirmation:
- ✅ Your booking is visible under “My Bookings”
- 📩 You’ll get a confirmation message and calendar invite
- 🔔 Team members receive notifications (if added)
🏟️ Ground Booking Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Instant Book | Confirmed immediately on payment |
| Request to Book | Needs ground admin approval (within 24 hrs) |
| Admin-only | Managed only by designated ground owners |
🛡️ Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellation allowed up to X hours before slot
- Refunds processed within 3-5 working days
- Admins may impose penalties for no-shows
Always review the booking policy shown for each venue.
