🖼️ Match Image Upload Policy

This page explains what’s allowed when uploading images to Sportzdom match pages, what we remove, and how moderation works. It also lists the required tags you must add so your photos show up correctly in feeds and search.

✅ What You May Upload​

  • Photos from live or completed matches (players, teams, officials, scoreboard, venue).
  • Team moments: warm-ups, huddles, celebrations, fair-play handshakes.
  • Equipment/venue shots (balls, rackets, nets, fields, courts) when relevant to the match.
  • Graphics: line-ups, scorecards, posters that you own or have a license to share.

You must have the right to share the image and consent from people featured (see Consent & Privacy).

❌ Not Allowed (Immediate Removal)​

  • Nudity/sexual content, sexualization of minors (zero tolerance).
  • Hate speech, harassment, bullying, incitement to violence.
  • Graphic violence/gore, self-harm, illegal activities.
  • Doxxing/PII (IDs, phone numbers, addresses, faces of minors without guardian consent).
  • Copyright violations, watermarked stock without license, stolen content.
  • Spam: unrelated promotions, repetitive posts, misleading edits/AI fakes.

🔐 Consent & Privacy (Minors Included)​

  • Get explicit consent from people in close-up shots.
  • For minors, obtain parent/guardian consent; never include school IDs, addresses, or schedules.
  • We strip most EXIF (GPS) by default to protect location privacy.

🛠️ Technical Requirements​

  • Formats: JPEG, PNG, WEBP (animated formats not supported)
  • Max size: 10 MB per image
  • Recommended resolution: 1280×720 or higher (16:9 or 4:3)
  • Processing: We automatically compress and may convert to JPEG/WEBP for performance. Most EXIF is removed.

🧪 Moderation Workflow​

We use automated checks plus human review:

  1. Automated screening for nudity/NSFW, violence, spam, and malware.
  2. Temporary hold if risk score is high (shown as “Under review”).
  3. Human review for edge cases and reports from users.
  4. Actions: allow, blur, age-gate, or remove. Repeated abuse may lead to account restrictions.

🚩 Report, Block & Appeals​

  • Report a photo: … (menu) → Report → select reason.
  • You can mute/block users to hide their content.
  • If your image was removed and you believe it complies, email support@sportzdom.com with the Match ID and Image ID to appeal.

🧾 Ownership & Licensing​

  • You keep ownership of your uploads.
  • By uploading, you give Sportzdom a license to host and display the content in the app/web.
  • Do not upload content you don’t own or lack permission to share.

🧒 Youth Safety​

  • No close-ups of minors without guardian consent.
  • No shirtless images of minors; no identifying school/location data.
  • We remove content and may notify relevant authorities for severe violations.

📦 Retention & Deletion​

  • Deleted images are removed from public view immediately and purged from storage within a reasonable period (subject to legal/audit requirements).
  • Images tied to public match records may be anonymized if required for historical integrity.

📝 Example of a Good Upload​

  • Caption: “🏆 Final whistle—Team Falcons lift the cup!”
  • Tags: Sport=Football, Teams=Falcons vs Riders, Role=players, When=post-match, Players=#10, #7, Event=City Cup 2025, Location=Pune
  • Quality: clear, non-blurry, no personal data, relevant to the match

❓ FAQ​

Can I post AI-generated images?
Only if clearly labeled and relevant to the match (e.g., poster). No deepfakes or misleading edits.

Can I upload screenshots from broadcast streams?
Only if you own the rights or have permission; many broadcasts are copyrighted.

Why was my image compressed?
To improve load times for all users. We keep visual quality high while reducing size.
